Yotaro baby simulator robot from the University of Tsukuba

Want to know what it’s like being a parent? The engineers at the University of Tsukuba in Japan have created a small baby simulator robot called Yotaro ヨタロウ who comes with an interactive screen that doubles as a face.
The interactive robot that is capable of portraying a whole range of facial expressions typical of a baby complete with the bodily movements and physiological characteristics. Yotaro can respond via an extremely well developed emotion-control system that signals an appropriate reaction to the user including its ability to cry real tears on its 2 dimensional face.
