Women’s only train carriages in Japan

When you travel to Japan and take the train in the morning, note that some Japan Rail and metro lines have women’s only carriages 女性専用車 during rush hours. In 2005, the women’s only carriages were introduced to prevent railway gropers on crowded trains. You can tell a women’s only carriage by the pink signs on the carriage and on the platform.
