Tokyo 3rd most livable city

According to Monocle magazine Tokyo is ranked as the third most livable city in the world. The magazine ranked the “World’s Most Livable Cities (Quality Of Life)” using the following criteria:
- Safety / low crime
- International connectivity
- Climate
- Quality of architecture
- Public transportation
- Tolerance of others
- Environmental issues and access to nature
- Urban design
- Business conditions
- “Pro-active policy developments” and
- Medical care

Their entire Top ten “most livable cities” are:
- Zürich, Switzerland
- Copenhagen, Denmark
- Tokyo, Japan
- Munich, Germany
- Helsinki, Finland
- Stockholm, Sweden
- Vienna, Austria
- Paris, France
- Melbourne, Australia
- Berlin, Germany

If you can get over the high cost of living and the high population density Tokyo is actually a really nice place to live, plenty of parks, culture, history, it’s clean and safe and the people are super nice and polite.

Yeah. I guess it depends on what the study’s authors deem to be important.
Supposedly Vancouver is the most expensive city to own a house in:

Shrug. Different places have different charms, and as long as you’re not in a war zone it can’t be that bad.

these rankings are always dominated by Canada, Australia, big first world countries that have small populations, lot so f natural resources and lots of space
