The God Tongue late night Japanese TV show

The God Tongue ゴッドタン is a popular late night Japanese TV variety show from TV Tokyo テレビ東京 which  started life as a one off special in February 2005 and became a regular show later that year.

Shown after midnight The God Tongue (ゴッドタン 〜The God Tongue 神の舌〜) stars comedy duo Ogiyahagi おぎやはぎ (comprising of Hiroaki Ogi 小木博明 and Ken Yahagi 矢作兼）, comedian  Shiyougo Kawashima 劇団ひとり and TV Tokyo announcer Yuki Matsumura 松丸友紀.

Regular guests include comedians  Banana Man バナナマン (comprising of Osamu Shitara 設楽統 and Yuki Himura 日村勇紀),  idols Momoko Tani and Mihiro.

The show have various segments and skits but the most popular seems to the gravure idol DVD corner with interviews with various idols (guests have included Anri Sugihara,  Emi Kobayashi, Yuu Tejima, Kana Tsugihara, Hitomi Aizawa, Yuri Morishita, Risa Yoshiki and Akane Oosawa).

Another very popular segment is the Kiss Patience (kiss gaman shenshuken) キス我慢選手権 game featuring pretty JAV idols Mihiro,  Kirara Asuka, Yuma Asami, Honoka,  Aino Kishi, Yuka Osawa, Sho Nishino, Azumi Harusaki etc) who tease nerds into kissing them.

    Kiss Patience kiss gaman shenshuken is the highlight of the show. BTW, seems Mihiro is on so many TV programs these days
