Sumiyoshi Taisha in Osaka is the main Sumiyoshi shrine in Japan. These shrines are dedicated to the three Sumiyoshi okami, as well as Empress Jingu (169-269). The shrine was founded by Tamomi no Sukune in 211 and has become the one of the most important and popular shrines in Osaka.
