Shape Up Girls rival the C.C. Girls
The Shape Up Girls シェイプUPガールズ were a sexy idol group active from 1994-2000. The 4 pretty Japanese ladies in the group included Fumie Nakajima 中島史恵, Mamiko Mise 三瀬真美子, Eri Emai 今井恵理 and Mayumi Kajiwara梶 原真弓. The group appeared on various Japanese TV shows and battled their rivals the C.C. girls C.C. ガールズ.
Though the Shape Up girls published 4 photobooks Superbody, Zippy!!, Vivace and Best of Shape Up Girls, their popularity waned in 4 years an their last group appearance was in 1997 on Japanese TV show Shimura X 志村X.
