Besides Ravijour, there is another Japanese lingerie brand which is very popular with Japanese women. Created in the early 1990s by  Miki Noguchi, Peach John ピーチジョン (or PJ) started a mail order business  selling imported American lingerie.

The company’s first local product, a big hit, was  a “Padded Bra” called the “Bomb Bust” which had super thick pads in the lower part of the cup which gave instant lift and instant volume.  Peach John also introduced a new bra called the “Circuit Bra”, another hit with Japanese women with it’s  u-shape wire in the lower cup to create a round bust and lots of cleavage.

Like America’s “Victoria Secret”, Peach John publish a catalog every season with some of the most beautiful models including Japanese models Jessica Michibata, Anjelica Michibata, Anna Umemiya, Hinano Yoshikawa, Rie Hasegawa, Lena Fujii, Kelly ケリー, Emi Renata Sakamoto, Melody Yoko, Rena Takeshita, US pop singer Fergie, model Dita Von Teese and R&B singer Che’Nelle

Peach John are known for the sexy lingerie fashion parties in Tokyo called “PJ Nights“and have held several of these over the last few years which include singers and dance groups like Janel.

Peach John not only sell cute and sexy lingerie, they also sell bags and accessories, shirts, jeans, pants and shoes. In 2006 a Japanese  lingerie giant “Wacoal” became 49% owner of the Peach John and eventually, “Wacoal” got full control of  Peach John in 2008. The company has also expanded outside Japan with 2 stores in Hong Kong and one planned for Shanghai.
