Nana Tanimura is a pretty and sexy 21 year law student at Aoyama Gakuin University 青山学院大学 who also happens to be one of Jpop’s new up and coming artists.  This Sapporo born singer who has  gravure idol good looks was raised in Okinawa, Osaka, Hawaii and Los Angeles.

During her third year of high school in Osaka, Nana had entered the Miss Magazine gravure idol contest where she advanced to the semi finals.  Though not winning she was noticed at a different event by music scouts for her singing ability and was signed to music label Sonic Group (part of the Avex Group).

She released her first singles “Again” and “Say Goodbye” in 2007 followed up by 2008’s “Jungle Dance” and “If I’m not the one / Sexy Senorita”.  Opinion polls at Oricon have tipped Nana as one of the breakthrough artists for 2009 and she has been featured on numerousJapanese TV shows such as Music Japan and Hey Hey Hey!.  In June 2008, Nana also did a sexy photo shoot for Men’s magazine Sabra.

On February 18th next month, Nana officially releases her 5th single “Crazy For You”. The  single is used as the themes song for the new TV commercial for “SUZUKI Chevrolet MW” which is already showing on TV. For the CD cover and video clip Nana wore a red hot “spy” body suit and green bikini which is sure to please all her male fans.
