Mutant girl squad stars the lovely Yumi Sugimoto

Get ready for another Japanese gorefest flick. Take 3 veteran directors Noboru Iguchi (Machine Girl, Robo-Geisha, The Ancient Dogoo Girl), Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police, Robo-Geisha, The Ancient Dogoo Girl), Tak Sakaguchi (Sakigake! Otokojuku, the star of Versus), producer Nikkatsu and pretty Japanese gravure idol and actress Yumi Sugimoto and you have Mutant Girl Squad 戦闘少女血の鉄仮面伝説 MGS (Sento Shojo: Chi no Tetsu Kamen Densetsu).

The movie which premiered last year in Japan has each director directing one-third of a single, continuous story. The film also stars sexy Japane gals Suzuka Morita 森田涼花 and Yuko Takayama 高山侑子.

The storyline is fairly simple. Japanese schoolgirl Rin (Yumi Sugimoto) is a bullied teenager who has arm which has mutated into a razor-sharp weapon on her 16th birthday. A shadowy government organization immediately begins hunting her down, slaughtering her parents in the process, but Rin is saved in the nick of time by a super-powered being called Hiruko.

Mutants from all over Japan are gathered together and begin militant training to overthrow the government. Meanwhile, Rin is fitted with a special iron mask and begins her life as a “battle girl,” utilizing both her mutant powers and acrobatic abilities to fight against mutant-hunting special forces.
