Kabuki Rocks Japanese version of KISS

Japanese visual rock band Kabuki Rocks カブキロックス fronted by Ichiban Ujigami was formed in 1989 and was probably inspired by the American band KISS (who, ironically were probably inspired by Japanese Kabuki theater 歌舞伎).
Kabuki Rocks members dressed as Japanese kabuki actors complete with the traditional mane-wigs and played a mix of traditional Japanese kabuki music mixed into their rock music and appearance. The band’s big breakthrough hit was O-edo お江戸 1990 and these guys are still active to this day!
