Japanese miniskirts even in Winter
Winter in Japan is cold but if you hang around Shibuya and Harajuku in Tokyo, a growing number of young Japanese women in their teens and twenties are wearing mini skirts and shorts! (It is said the the school girls of Hokkaido who have to brave even colder weather still wear their skirts short despite the freezing conditions)
Though pretty Japanese women do wear pants in winter, it seems the trend over the last few years is for miniskirts and shorts. Seeing micro skirts that rise 20 or 30 centimeters above the knees and ultra-short hot pants is not uncommon.
Lucky to be living in Japan? Most guy’s we know are NOT complaining.

Definitely no complaints from me. J-babes dress so much more fashionable than the ladies in my native NYC. If they can stand the cold I’ve got no problems with them wearing miniskirts in winter

If a girl has nice legs (and men do love to look at them) she has the right to show them off and for me the shorter the better.

What’s extraordinary about that? Granted, you’d never see such nattily attired young ladies in North America where fashion sense has long gone out the window, but I do recall the days when miniskirts were at their height, both in terms of hemlength and popularity, when they were worn summer and winter. And forget this silliness of shorts. If they wanted to wear shorts, they would, not a skirt. And vice versa.
