Goemon Japanese Robin Hood movie
Goemon is a 2009 Japanese historical fantasy movie directed and written by Kazuaki Kiriya 紀里谷 和明 . The film is loosely based on the story of Ishikawa Goemon 石川 五衛門, a legendary ninja bandit hero who stole from the rich and gave to the poor.
The film stars which stars Yōsuke Eguchi as Ishikawa Goemon, Takao Osawa as Saizō Kirigakure and Ryōko Hirosue as Chacha, is a fictional account of Goemon’s exploits and his role during the final phase of Japanese civil war, especially the conflict leading to the decisive Battle of Sekigahara.
