Pretty Japanese TV celebrity and former TV announcer Mona Yamamoto 山本 モナ, (34)  , who is half Norwegian- half Japanese has just tied the knot. Her management agency sent out a notice on Monday to announce that she registered her marriage earlier in the day.  Yamamoto’s husband is the president of a real estate investment company. Their relationship was recently reported to be going well, but there was no word of marriage at the time.

Before this, Yamamoto twice made major headlines for scandalous relationships. In 2006, she was discovered to be having an affair with politician Goshi Hosono and was forced to step down from her position on TBS’s “NEWS23″ program.  She made a comeback, but in 2008 she was again caught in an affair with Yomiuri Giants player Tomohiro Nioka.

Yamamoto stated in the press she now wants to retire from showbiz, support her husband and start a family.

Fuji TV’s comedy Shaken Baby  しぇいけんBABY! is about Odagaki Hiroshi (Yusuke Yamamoto 山本裕典)  your average second year student at Tomei University. One day his girlfriend dumps him with the words “You’re boring because you’re too normal”. With the help of his classmate Sudo Shun (Takaiki Ishida 石田剛規)  he joins the schools Shakespeare Research group, or “Shaken” for short, a group only consisting of weirdos.

Pretty Japanese fashion model and TV celebrity Moe Oshikiri 押切もえ was spotted earlier this summer in policewoman cosplay in the Harajuku district of Tokyo.   The 30 year old AneCan magazine model wore a fitting black blazer, hip hugging skirt with heels and a cute police lady hat to complete her transformation as she was chosen as an honorary police station caption for a day for the Tokyo Metropolitan police.

Moe-chan’s appointment as honorary police captain was to increase awareness of traffic accidents in the area.

The beautiful Moe-chan was put on traffic directing duty for a bit before posing with Japanese police mascot Piipo-kun and the mandatory salute pose for the media.

Besides looking pretty in her police woman outfit, the media asked questions about her love life as unlike Yubi Ebirhara who recently got married, Moe-chan is still single as her relationship with Yomiuri Giant’s baseball star Nomaguchi Takahiko ended in September last year.

Pretty Ageha fashion model and entrepreneur Eri Momoka is the face of  “Tequila Balls” テキーラボール a type of  “jello shot”  that was created at the Tokyo Kabukicho bar “NASUKA”  in 2008.  Tequila balls are 20% alcohol and contain 1/3 of a shot glass worth of tequila each and currently available in orange, blueberry, yogurt, cassis and strawberry.

NASUKA’s main patrons are hosts and hostesses who like the Tequila Balls but one  regular who happened to be a model for the massively popular cabaret style fashion magazine, Koakuma Ageha wrote about the Tequila balls on her blog which brought a sudden surge in interest from around Japan.

NASUKA then started the Tequila balls to other local cabaret and host clubs and  eventually had to branch out into a production and mail order service that sells the items starting from 2,205 Yen for a set of 10.

By November 2009, NASUKA had sold over 300,000 units of Tequila Balls and popularity of the the drinks continues to rise.

Miyu Uehara (Myuu Uehara)  上原 美優 is a pretty22 year old Japanese gravure model and a race queen from Kagoshima prefecture who is only 152cm tall and weighs 38kg! Mayumi Ono 小野真弓 is a 29 year old actress, gravure idol and singer from Chiba prefecture who is also a graduate of Jumonji university.  She debuted a as a gravure idol in 2001 and has released 21 DVDs including appearing in TBS’ popular High Definition Beach Angels series last year.

Mayumi has also appeared on 22 TV shows and 9 films, 4 radio shows and 9 TV commercials including KDDI, Acom and Japan Gas.

For Beach Angels DVD, Mayumi had to travel to Hamilton Island in Australia pose in front of blue skies and a glaring sun in a variety of swimsuits in the lush tropical beach resort setting.  Tough life Mayumi!

Tomomi Itano 板野友美 is the pretty and talented soon to be 19 year old  singer from Jpop group AKB48. Back in 2005, the Osaka born Tomomi (known as Tomochin) was chosen out of 7,000 auditioners to join the popular all girl AKB48.  She has featured in all the released singles and is part of unit A.

Tomomi has appeared in 3 TV commercials  including NTT Docomo (2006), Kirin Nuda by Kirin Beverage (2008) and a new one this month for  Ito-Yokado 株式会社イトーヨーカ堂 a Japanese general merchandise store (part of Seven & I Holdings Co) where she features in a traditional yukata and bikini for their 2010 Swimwear and Yukata fashion lines ー 恋水着 恋ゆかた.
